My path into software development wasn’t traditional — and that’s one of my strengths.
I’ve been self-employed since 2014, long before I started building apps. That experience taught me how businesses actually operate: tight budgets, real customers, practical constraints, and the need for solutions that create value quickly.
My academic background is in engineering. I earned my Master of Science degree in Building Engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology, specializing in Building Physics. That field is deeply analytical and mathematical — it trains you to break down complex systems into structured, solvable components.
That same mindset now drives my work as a developer.
Programming feels natural to me because it’s essentially structured problem solving. I enjoy turning abstract ideas into well-organized, functional systems. Clean architecture, logical structure, and long-term maintainability are not afterthoughts — they are core principles in how I build software.
Today, my main focus is Flutter app development. Python plays a supporting role when automation, data processing, or backend logic is needed — but building polished, production-ready apps is where I do my best work.
On a personal note, I’ve been vegan since 2006. Making thoughtful, conscious choices matters to me — in life and in work. I believe in building things responsibly, sustainably, and with intention.
